How to Disable Users' to Edit their Form Submissions at a Later Time?

I've seen the page before but now can't locate it. I'm trying to make it where the form submitted is done and not accessible at a later time to change/edit by client. Can you show a screenshare on where that feature is located?

    Hello @ViewAMiracle,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please note that by default form respondents can't edit their submissions unless you allow them to by including the edit link in an auto-responder email, adding an edit button to the thank-you page, and/or letting them know the submission ID.

So the 3 forms I have already are giving the respondents the ability to edit their submission but I don't want that feature turned on. So how do I turn that off? I clicked the related guide linked above but that wasn't useful.

    Hello ViewAMiracle,

Thank you for letting us know. I would like to kindly clear up what our colleague mean, your users won't be able to edit their form submissions at a later date unless you add the edit link in the auto-responder email, add an edit button on the Thank You page or sharing the submission ID.

I checked your forms and all 3 of them don't have the added option to edit submissions on either Auto-Responder Email or Thank You page, so your users can't edit their form submissions unless you did the last option.

If you wish to learn how to disable the user's access to edit their form submissions, doing that is easy. Let me show you how:

    • For the Auto-Responder, simply remove the added {edit_link} tag to the Email Content by deleting the row and press the Save button.

    • Next for the Thank You page, simply remove the added Edit Submission button by clicking the Trash icon and then the Remove button.

Hope this helps. Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
