Text boxes sent by notification and printed

I just added an anchor to two text boxes. What does that do? What I was hoping was that it would ensure that the text was printed and connected to the person filling it out and for us when we receive a copy of it.

From what I understood you wish the content of text fields to be sent with the email notification (sent to you) and with the auto-responders (sent to the person filling in the form). If this is the case you can copy/past the text directly in the email notification or in the auto-responder:

To print text fields select the "Show headers and texts" option in the Submissions area:
