They said they are using Internet Explorer with Windows 8. Are there known issues? Work-around? Fixes?

Hi,
I see why that is happening. There are some conflicts with the code on your website and the code needed to run the jotform. Sometimes conflict would cause on thing to work and at other times it could work perfectly.
Now what you should do is use iframe embed method instead of js embed method.
Please take a look here how to get the jotform iFrame Code.
If you have any further questions do let us know and we would be happy to answer them.
Best Regards,

Thank you Ben,
Is is always best to use that method? If not, can you tell me the circumstances where I should use it instead of the regular embed? For example, what was the conflict you noticed?

Hi Steve,
We recommend to use the iframe method when there are other scripts (written in JavaScript) present in the page where the form is embedded because in some cases these scripts can cause conflicts with your form scripts and issues with the form.
The iframe method provides a way to avoid conflicts with other scripts.
I hope this answers your question.
Best Regards.
