I'm not sure that I fully understand your first question. Did you mean that you want the user to receive a response back as soon as they submit information using your jotform?
There are two important pieces that are apart of your jotforms if you wish to receive responses. The single most important part if you want notice of this is the email notification and that is configured to send to you.
However, If you want the user to receive a copy of their own data as a confirmation of the response being sent then that is known as an Autoresponder and you have to set that one up separately.
