Google Sheets Integration: Some submissions are missing

This form (https://form.jotform.com/223175486971062) is linked to a Google sheet in my account. I noticed today that the Google sheet is missing the last submission that was made to the form. The last submission appears in the form submissions, but is missing from the Google sheet. Is there a reason why the last submission is missing?

    Hi Matthew,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you try to edit the submission on tables to sync the submission with Google Sheets? Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Form Builder at the top-left side of your screen.
    2. In the menu that opens, click on Tables.

    3. Right-click on the submission.
    4. In the menu that opens, click on Edit Entry.

    5. Click on Submit and you're ready to go.

If the same thing happens again, can you re-integrate the Google Sheets integration? Let me walk you through it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of your screen.
    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Integrations.
    3. Click on Google Sheets.

    4. Click on Remove Integration.
    5. Then, click on Yes, Remove!

If my form has a payment option and I resubmit an existing submission, will it bill the parent a second time?

    Hello Matthew,

Thanks for getting back to us and we’re sorry you’re having trouble with this. I understand your concern regarding the payment to trigger and recharge your respondents if you resubmitted the form. But please note that the payment field is disabled when editing the form to avoid this type of issue.

We just tried manually pushing the submission from the table to your spreadsheet. Before editing the entry can you check if this missing submission has now been added to your Google Sheet?

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

This happened again with another form (https://form.jotform.com/230234669868064). My issue with this occurring is that I am not the one monitoring the form. The Google integration provides an easy to allow another user to watch the submissions without having to give them access to the JotForm. Is there a way to find out why this happened? Is there more information I can give?

    Hi Matthew,

Thanks for getting back to us. Editing the form or the integrated spreadsheet can sometimes cause the issue that's why we don't recommend it. If only one to three submissions were not sent to Google Sheets, you can use the Edit entry feature of the submission and re-submit it to push them to your spreadsheet. Alternatively, we can manually push the submission/s for you using our backend tool.

I've manually pushed all missing submissions to your Google Sheets, can you check and see if the submission has populated on the Google Sheets? If you're still having the same issue, you can Remove the Integration and add it again. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Integrations in the menu on the left side of the page.
    3. In Google Sheet integration, click on the Remove Integration button.

Now, when you're re-adding the Google Sheet integration, make sure to select Use an existing spreadsheet option so that the submissions will still be sent to the same sheet.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

This happened again with form (https://www.jotform.com/build/240068923822255). We were missing two entries that caused students to almost be denied entry to an event. This is very frustrating as I do not know which entries are missing and we only find out when people say they have signed up for an event and are not on the Google Sheet.

Is it possible to share the JotForm submissions page?

    Hi Matthew,

Thanks for getting back to us. I manually synced a total of 2 submissions in your Google Sheets, can you check if you can now see these submissions from the integrated Google Sheets? As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
