Thank you for contacting us.
Can you please provide us with a link to the affected form?
Do you mean that the photos are missing in email alerts, or there are no any emails at all?

Hi,
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Did you meant that the other upload form you created does not send you the upload photos? If this is the case, can you please share us the Form's URL so that we can assist you better.
1. You can also check if the Email Alerts notification is setup on the form to properly attach the download link of the uploaded file/image.
2. Here, in my form I have 2 upload fields, you can see at the right side the form fields that I have. I just added them inside the email content.
3. When a form has been successfully submitted, you should receive an email notification with download links for the uploaded file. The files uploaded are stored in our datacenter and servers which are secured.
I hope this helps. We'll wait for your response.
Thank you.

RobertStewartReplied on December 18, 2014 at 10:02 AMHi Charlie at JotForms,
Thank you for including the the images along with your recommendations to
resolved my problem.
But I am not sure I understand what it is you are telling me. I am doing
something wrong.
Please go to: photoart-creations.com When you are on the opening page
you will see along the menu bar at the top of the page
" • UPLOAD PHOTO " when you click on that a window opens and my customer
can see the JotForm ( Just 2 Easy Steps ! ).
The form works nicely but when the customer uploads their photo it does not
go to me email address. It gos to your data
Storage. I have go to My Forms check mark the form that I have embedded
and have to click on "Inbox" to see the photo my customer that uploaded.
I simply want the my customers uploaded photos to go to my email address (
and if possible 2 email address at the same time.)
I want the photos to go to stewartdesign@bell.net (and if possible
stewartdesign@cogeco.net as well )
I can not expand this more clearly. I hope JotForms can help me to get my
customer's photo to upload to my email
addresses so I can respond quickly to them rather then going to the JotForm
page and search the inbox for any new photo uploads.
What am I doing wrong??

Hi,
As my earlier post states, you can add the images under your Email Alerts settings. Please see below screenshots on what I did.
1. Navigate to "Setup & Embed"->Email Alerts
2. In Compose Email, add the form fields for the image. Please see description below.
3. To add more email recipients, you can follow this guide that we have. How to Send Notifications to Multiple Recipients
4. I fill out a test submission in my cloned form
5. In my gmail account, I then receive an email notification, you will see the "Text Image" is the uploaded image when I did the submission. At the bottom, you will see the link to the test_image.png file.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you need more information on this and if I was able to clearly address that issue that you have.
Thank you.

RobertStewartReplied on December 22, 2014 at 8:00 AMOk now I see where the misunderstanding is here. I mean I just want to get
an email notice as to where I can download any image that is uploaded
using the Jotform I built for my needs. I see you thought I meant I wanted
the actual image to be transferred to my email address…no… I just want
notice so I can
get and image that my customer uploaded.
I don't understand what your forms explain. How do I direct uploads notices
to my email address.
Step 1 set-up and embed ( I see Upload widget Select image Preview area )
was is all this?????
Step 2 Email alerts ( Email Alerts )
Then I see the window " Compose Email "
Subject: New
submission:{form_title}
Then red arrows to JotForm box
Question Answer
Upload default { uploadDefault}
What ?? Do I type the exact text into boxes??
What are these fields for??? What do I put in these fields to get a notice
that an image has been uploaded??
Gentlemen please explain this to me like I am a 4 year old!!!! I do not
get the connection of the steps 1,2 and compose email page
showing me how to get an image link notice to my email address. You guys
know what you are talking about but, fail to put into layman's terms.
In my senior years in high school and early years in college I never wrote a
math or physics examine below 90%… but this is baffling me.
Is there a PDF Guide Book
for JotForm so I can teach myself ???

Hi Robert,
OK, I would first like to confirm.
You want to have the links to the uploaded images sent to your email, not to have the preview of the images included in the email, just links to where you can get them.
I don't understand what your forms explain. How do I direct uploads notices to my email address.
OK. Open your jotform and click on Email Alerts button:
Did it? Great. You should now see a new window that had just opened up showing you the body of the email.
On the right side you will see the fields that you could add to the email body, and based on what you have mentioned so far, the Notifier 2 has everything you need already added to the body.
Going from the top we can see that your email will contain:
1. The name that your clients fill out
2. Their email address
3. Their questions or comments if they have any
4. the link to the uploaded image
5. The output of the YouTube widget (this is under the submit button and no link is given to it).Now what we need is to click on the Reply-To and Recipient Settings button.
Did that? Great, now we can setup where the emails should go to.
By default all emails are sent to the email registered with the JotForm account.
Now starting with 1 and going to Finish button.
1 - We can select to see who has sent us the email. Best practice is to set it to JotForm or the Full Name field on your jotform.
2 - sender email. This can be your own SMTP server or our own. For simplicity we recommend setting it as it is now.
3 - This is the email address that would get an email if you were to click on reply button after receiving an email from our server.
4 - This is the name of the notifier to allow you to find it easier in future
5 - This field is used to add the emails that you want to receive the notification of submission.
If you enter just one email, you should add it like so:
emailaccount@server.tld
If you are adding multiple email addresses, then you should add them like so:
emailaccount1@server.tld, emailaccount2@server.tld
Do notice that between the two email addresses there are a single comma and a single space.
Done? Everything looks as it should? Well, then just click on Finish button and your email setup will be saved and ready.
All you should do now is make a test submission of your own and see if it goes just the way you have imagined it.
If not, do let us now and we will be more than happy to assist you.
Since you have asked for PDF, unfortunately we do not have a PDF with this info, but we have very nice guides many including a video as well.
Setting Up Email Notifications
Send Notifications to Multiple Recipients
How to place form title in the Subject Line of form notification?
How to Delete Notifications/Autoresponder
Do let us know how it goes and if you have any further questions.
Best Regards,
Ben
