Zapier: Other fields in the form are not showing up on the zap

    I am experimenting with zapier and trying to do a simple integration where if someone fills out a form on jotform, it adds an entry into google sheets.

    I hooked into jotforms and set a "trigger" to hook into one of my forms. However, the fields that are pulling in are things like "form_id" and "ip address". instead of fields on the actual form like "name" and "email address". I am using the "New Submission" event.

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you're unable to pass the information to Google Sheets via Zapier, you can use our Google Sheet integration to directly send the submission to your Google Sheets. Let me show you how:

    • In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top.
    • Click on Integrations on the left menu.
    • Select the Google Sheets integration.

    Yes, I was able to get google sheets to work with jotform with jotforms direct integration. However, it still does not integrate with zapier. The fields on my form don't even come up when I link with zapier (attached). However, fields like the ip address and created_at appear, but not actual fields from the form. I should see form fields there like name, email, address, or whatever.

    Other things I have tried:
    - made sure the european datacenters is "none"
    - disabled "HIPAA compliance"
    - "encrypt form data" set to false

    No matter what happens, my jotform fields do not appear in zapier. Do you know why jotforms is not sharing the information with zapier? I am using the free plan with both jotforms and zapier, so I am not sure if that is it.

    Hi Steve,

    Try reconnecting your Jotform account in Zapier. You can refer to this guide on how you can do this.

    After reconnecting your Jotform account, check if the form fields will then show up in the Zap.
