Would attached files in email alerts be required to be password protected?

Hi,if i encrypted the email. The zip file attached needs to be password encrypted? Thank you

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's not possible to encrypt only the email. If you are using HIPAA forms, your PDF attachments will require to have password protection. We also have a guide on How to Attach Submissions as PDFs in Email Notifications with HIPAA that you can check out.
