Yes, I have found this is not function for my needs as a teacher and has wasted a lot of my time. Most of the form that I created jotform was unable to translate. Bummer since I was so excited to easily translate forms for my students.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and you haven't added the translations to the form yet:
The form will not be automatically translated. You will need to add the translations manually to the fields shown above.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Mary. That is actually my point. I have to individually put in all the translations for every language I want to include. This is something I thought jotform would do which would free up valuable time and make it easier for me to use forms with my students. Alas, it does not and I will continue to look for a solution.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for getting back to us. For now, you need to manually add translation to each field in your form so that it will automatically translate once the user selects a specific language in the Language Selection button. Additionally, you can also enable the Detect Language in the Translation Settings, this way it detects the user's browser language. Here's how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
- Next, select Show More Options at the bottom.
- Scroll down to Form Language and choose your form’s default language.
- Right below Form Language, go to Edit next to Translations.
- Lastly, under the Settings tab, enable the Detect Language option.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
