Can I set up multiple users instead of Sub Accounts?

It seems the that sub account users account is limited, meaning they don't have access to the full upgraded features. All of our users create and use there own forms.  Is there a way to set them up a full users instead of sub users?

The sub-users already have main accounts which is a requirement for you to be a sub-user.

The sub-user account is limited to the features available on the main account user which the shared forms are made accessible to them.

Sub users can only edit form and view submissions for the main account but they cannot modify the main account properties or create new forms for that account.

Which particular feature do you find to be missing for the sub-users.

Can sub-users create their own forms? We don't typically use the same forms.

Sub users can create their own forms since they have an existing jotform account, but the forms will be tied to their own account. unless they choose to share by creating sub-users under their account.

If an organization wants to have multiple users, as indicated by @wwheeler, above, do you have to pay per month, per user, for full access? In other words, can you pay one subscription and allow multiple users to create their own forms?

For example, it would be silly to have to pay $49.95 per user, for professional edition, just so you can have more than one user creating forms. I understand the response limitations, etc, but having one "administrator" and 100 sub users, means the "administrator" would have to create EVERY form for the organization, then allow the sub-users to edit the form. This is counter-intuitive and counter productive, as it means that the administrator has to be bothered every time a user wants to make a new form.

Circling back to wwheeler's question, I believe what they are trying to ask is if there is a way to have multiple users with full creation access associated with one account? @Sammy mentioned above that the sub-users already have main accounts, would those main accounts be limited by the "free account" restrictions?

Example: You have one administrator and five department heads that need to create forms. That is six "accounts" total. In order for each of the five department heads to create forms and have the "professional account" response limits, do you have to pay $49.95 per month, per user. In my opinion, if you are paying $500 per year for a professional account, you should be able to have sub-users have form creation permissions.

Otherwise, the account admin has to create a blank form, which can then be edited, every time a sub-user wants to create a new form, in order for all of the forms to be centrally managed, correct?

If the five department heads have to share forms back and forth, in order to be viewable/editable, that turns into a nasty rat's nest of permissions in order for multiple users to be able to create forms.

Jotform is ideally created for single user accounts.

The main account of the sub-users will be limited by their account type restrictions.

By restricting the form creation to the main account owner, it allows for easy revocation of rights to the sub users, the account admin is the one to initiate the creation of a new form
