Using a digital signature except for Adobe eSign

Asked by christian_wagner on June 16, 2015 at 06:21 PM

    Hi guys,

Are there any alternatives to a digital signature besides Adobe eSign? I'm looking for one that's got the same or similar functionalities but don't need to send and receive PDF documents and such. Just need to make sure it's got an encrypted digital ID or something like that.

    Thanks!
    Christian

    Hi christian_wagner,

    Thanks for contacting us.

There are other digital signature widgets that you can use aside from Adobe eSign. You can try the E-Signature widget and Smooth Signature widget.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.

Hi Chriistian, thanks for the response!

I'm looking for something that is able to have a unique encrypted ID code with each customer like what Adobe does. Is there anything like that available on JotForm or is there only a literal digital signature widget?

Unfortunately, E-signature and Smooth signature widgets does not create unique encrypted ID.

However, each submission has submission ID, submission date and IP address are being recorded. You need to enable them in order to see it in the submissions page. You can probably use them as unique ID for each submission.
