    Do you have a support agreement

    Having just signed up, there a few questions to raise:

    1. The data entered - is it transient date (not held by you)?

    2. Where is the data stored?

    3. What evidence and assurance do we have regarding the data should we decide not to continue using your service?

    4. I note there is a 24 hr help service but do you have a support agreement?

    First, thank you for your interest in using JotForm.

    Here are the answers to your question.

    1. The data entered - is it transient date (not held by you)?

    If I understand you correctly, you are asking about the lifespan of your data in our servers/data centers? The data in your account is owned by you, they will remain in our data centers unless you delete them. When you delete a data or submission in your account, it will permanently be removed in our end, and we do not store copies.

    2. Where is the data stored?

    We use Amazon Web Services. (AWS) and Incero for our Data centers.

    We have 2 datacenters in the USA, one in Dallas Texas and the other on Norther Virginia.

     

    3. What evidence and assurance do we have regarding the data should we decide not to continue using your service?

    Regarding security, here are some information that our founder shared to us:

    - We have bug bounty programs where we pay outside parties for

    reporting vulnerabilities in our system.

    - Our servers are protected by private networks and constantly updated

    and patched.

    - Our system administrators have a collective 40+ years of industry experience.

    - Our development team is encouraged to follow best security practices.

    - All data transfer are made of 256-bit SSL secure connection.

    - Our servers are located on SSAE16 Audited facilities.

     

    4. I note there is a 24 hr help service but do you have a support agreement?

    Currently, you can contact us for support through the forum and via email (support@jotform.com). You can check our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy page to learn more about the service agreement with our users. When you use our product and services, rest assure that we will provide support within 24 hours.
