How to set up parameters for Google Docs Integration

First of all let me compliment you on the great service you provide. The UI is amazingly easy, and fulfills many of my needs.

I created a form that is integrated to Google docs and that inspired me to generate some charts in the future and manage the data monthly. When does the file that is generated end? Can that spreadsheet file be configured to end at each month? Are there any settings that I can change for the generated file?

    Thank you,

    Bernie Morris

Thank you for the kind words. We highly appreciate it as well. :)

Here are the answers to your inquiry about the Google Spreadsheet integration .

When does the file that is generated end?

As long as your form that was integrated to Google spreadsheet is still getting submissions, the Google spreadsheet will also continue to generate submission.

Can that spreadsheet file be configured to end at each month? Are there any settings that I can change for the generated file?

There is no setting in the Google spreadsheet that you can use to configure or schedule when and how the submission will be added.

BUT there is a setting in your form that you can use to restrict the acceptance of form submissions within a specific time/date range (i.e limit to monthly submission)

You can set an Expiration Date Limit on the form so that it will stop accepting submission on a specified date.

You can review the user guide on how to here -How-to-Limit-Submissions-in-a-Form

Once the form stops getting further submission, the integrated Google spreadsheet will also stop.

You can just remove or change the expiration date again if you want the to continue again later on.

I dont know yet where you will be using your spreadsheet chart, but just in case it was for data anaylysis purposes, you may also want to check the JotForm Form Analytics tool.

You can use it to display real-time data and use attractive charts as well.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.
