We use JotForms for creating an employee evaluation form template. Some of these forms require a second signature in order to make them valid. But some of our supervisors would like to submit the form, then have the discussion later with the employee. Which means the employee has not signed the form.

I have worked around this by adding an "edit link" to the notification that comes to the admin, unfortunately after the form is re-submitted, the email and PDF do not show the signature change. But if I click on the "edit link" button again I see the new signature (employee signature) is present.

How do I get this new signature to show up on the PDF so I can save this review in the employee's file? Below is the actual form we use.

    Hi,

As far as I know, editing or changing the e-signature on the submission data is not possible at this time. This is by design as part of security when using e-signature.

Even if you were able to manually change the form existing signature using an Edit Link or even by directly editing the submission in Edit Mode, you can see that the change in signature will not take effect on the submission data.

You can check this when you go to the form View Submission page. After you have edited the e-signature and re-submitted the form, you can check the submission data. You will see that the signature will be still the original one.

Hope this help. Please let us know if you need further assistance on this
