We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) that encrypts mail for secure delivery when you use noreply@jotform.com or noreply@formresponse.com sender email. Note, that your mail server should be TLS enabled too.

Please also not that if you enable an 'Attach PDF' option or switch to some custom sender, the messages will be sent without the TLS encryption in transfer.

We also offer a custom SMTP sender option where you can use your secure sender.

I have forwarded a ticket to our Backend Team to see if we can enable the encryption in transfer for custom sender emails. We will let you know if we have any updates on this.
