Email Alerts: Request to implement TLS encryption for all the form emailsAsked by chipitin93 on March 07, 2016 at 01:36 PM
Do guys knjow anything about this? I check my gmail and all the mails that come from your forms has a lock on it, I still recibe the confirmation mails, just want to be sure that you guy are ahead of this matter.
We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) that encrypts mail for secure delivery when you use firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com sender email. Note, that your mail server should be TLS enabled too.
Please also not that if you enable an 'Attach PDF' option or switch to some custom sender, the messages will be sent without the TLS encryption in transfer.
We also offer a custom SMTP sender option where you can use your secure sender.
I have forwarded a ticket to our Backend Team to see if we can enable the encryption in transfer for custom sender emails. We will let you know if we have any updates on this.
