"All states and cities" widget: Remove labels?Asked by Benflips on July 12, 2016 at 07:01 AM
I've used your all countries/states/towns widget
Can someone alter some of the data kept within it?
In my case, if I pick Australia, the data that populates in the state field has the text 'State of' before each actual state name. Can this be deleted, so it only holds the State name.
I have another open query that will hopefully help me get all fields on one line (by reducing padding and so on) if I end up deleting this widget, and return to just using text boxes for my alternate postal address however...
Some suggestions to make this widget more user-friendly...hopefully this can be implemented...Could the widget populate in such a way that once Country is selected, the State field appears 'above' it - so effectively it pushes the country field down...and then the same happen when the town/city field appears.I don't know anyone that would have an address recorded in the format Country, State, City...and then street...for that matter, where does postal/zip code come into the picture?Additionally, could this widget do this same populating process but horizontally rather than vertically?
I'm sorry, I'm having quite a hard time tracking the main concern you have. It seems like you have a lot of questions. First, to confirm, you are referring to the "All states and cities" widget, is that correct? Is it added in your form titled "INTAKE New Client (Adult)"?
The widget output will be something in this format:
No, it is not possible to edit in your end to remove or alter the labels for "Country", "State" and "City" in the submission data. It was designed to have labels like that and was not designed to be an address field.
For the other questions, I have opened separate threads for them. Please refer to the following links:
