Dear Jotform,
I have been doing event registrations and for my next event, I need to generation a unique confirmation code which will get generated on a successful registration payment. The confirmation code needs to get emailed to the person or group doing the registration and we need to be able to track the unique confirmation number for each registrant.
Is this possible using jotforms?

Yes, you can easily generate unique codes in each of your submission when the form is submitted. The easiest is by using any of the widgets below:
https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/autoincrement
https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/random_value_generator
That should allow you to have unique IDs on each submission, aside form the submission ID itself. To learn more about the Unique ID widget, you can follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions
You can then have those unique ID or code added in your email alert. To learn more about email alerts, you can check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/30-Explanation-of-Email-Notification-and-Autoresponder-Settings
Let us know if you need further help on this.
