Account: Overlimit

Hello. Nov, 11 we've got an e-mail, that our account disabled due to exceed upload limit. Just after that I've cleaned submissions, trash and forms cache. In some time account info was recalculated and now has no warnings. BUT in two days after that our forms are still displaying message "Form over quota" and doesn't work. Is it normal? Should we ask for unblock every time it will happen again or wait for been enabled automaically?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having trouble with this. When I checked our system, I saw that your account was mistakenly tagged as over limit by our system. So, I reactivated your account immediately.

Give it another try and let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks, now everythning works... anyway, if overlimit will happen again, does it still require to fix manually? or account will be reactivated automatically after we clean it up (in what period)?

    Hi indigo4plus,

Thanks for getting back to us. We're glad that your forms are working now. Everything should be automatic. Usually, the system will reflect the updated account limit right away but sometimes it may take some time to refresh. If the account limit has reset after you delete the submission data but the form is still showing over quota, please try clearing the form cache manually. Let me show you how:

    • On your My Forms page, hover your mouse on your Profile Avatar icon.
    • In the window that opens, click on Settings.

    • In the Settings menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Clear Cache. That's it, you're done.

You can also check this guide for more information about clearing caches. If this does not resolve the issue, please let us know and we'll investigate it further.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I did exactly as you've described above, and in account/profile menu occupied space was refreshed in a little time and exceed limits messages disappeared on My Forms page. Anyway forms were still blocked for two days untill been fixed manually by my request. So I let you know to investigate it further.

    Hi indigo4plus,

Thanks for getting back to us. If this happens again, please let us know right away so we can manually recalculate your account limit. We might need to forward this to our developers if this keeps happening. For now, we'll wait to see if the system will automatically remove the overlimit status after clearing the Upload Space and clearing the form cache.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello, the problem is still the same. Our account is blocked due overlimit, but we have recently (yesterday) cleaned up inbox. Actually we did it every day or two days on weekends. So the reason of this situation is in updating of occupied space recalculation... it is VERY SLOW! And why our account can't be enabled automatically?

    Hi indigo4plus,

Thanks for getting back to us. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. The system automatically updates the account limit once you've deleted your submissions. It may have some delays but it normally automatically updates within the day. I've checked your account and can see that you are within the limit. I can see that you have recently purged the submissions with file uploads on them so I have recalculated the Upload Space limit. It is now showing 0.00B out of 100 MB.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Hello.

This problem appears again. But now we saw the note, that free upload space will be updated in 50 minutes after we've cleaned submissions, and actually it did (showing 0 of 100MB). No overlimit warning now, however form is still disabled. Please unblock it and I'm asking again for developers to do something with form to be enabled AUTOMATICALLY!

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting back to us. As mentioned by my colleague, there may be some time delay when clearing your usage limit. When I checked your forms now, I saw that they are all working correctly as expected. Check out this screenshot below from one of your forms:

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi!

I don't know how you get your screenshot, but try this link https://form.jotform.com/70871109292962 and here is my screenshot. So form is still unavailable!

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting back to us. I was able to reproduce the issue but the overquota error was removed after I cleared the form cache. Here's a screenshot of the form now:

In case this happens again, you can clear the form cache on your end. Let me show you how:

    1. Click on your Avatar located on the upper right side of the page.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Scroll down and click on the Clear Cache button.
