I would like to add a PDF that can be printed by classmates.  It is built and ready to go.  Can I add to the registration form?

    Hello Charli,

If what you wish is simply let your classmates who made the submission of the form get a PDF of their submissions, you can set your autoresponder to enable to attach the PDF version of their submitted information:

    1) Edit your form and click Emails
    2) Select your Auto Responder email alert
    3) Click Advanced
    4) Tick PDF Attachment to Yes

Here is an example where I have edited the Auto Responder email alert and on the Advanced tab, I have set PDF Attachment to Yes.

But if what you have currently is a fillable PDF and you would like to have JotForm to be able to accept submissions from it, you can also. This guide on the other hand will allow you to upload your PDF to have JotForm receive submissions: https://www.jotform.com/fillable-pdf-form-creator/

Note: On the latter, please make sure to download also a version of the PDF created in JotForm after importing so for you to share to others and have them use the form to make submissions.

But if you already have an existing form, you can create a fillable PDF version of it. You can refer to this user guide in order to know the steps: https://www.jotform.com/help/212-How-to-create-a-PDF-form

If I'm missing something or I'm misunderstanding the matter, please let us know.

    Thanks.

Some of my classmates are not comfortable using an online process.  We're old, so you have to understand that from their perspective, it is not safe.  So all that some of them want to do, is be able to download a form that they can fill out manually and then mail in to us.

I have been mailing them the form that I made, but thought maybe if I also had it on line, other classmates or family members, could help those that were uncomfortable with the online or simply do not have a computer.

So they only want a blank copy to fill out and mail in to us.

    Hello Charli,

Thank you for the additional information. I think the best solution to this to create the fillable PDF version of the form. After filling it up, they save the form via the Adobe reader. This will keep the information in tact so even after closing and reopening the file, the filled information stays there and they can also print the form and send the printed document via mail to you.

You can follow this link for you to create the fillable PDF version of your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/212-How-to-create-a-PDF-form

Let me know if you have concerns or other questions on this matter.

    Thanks.
