I have the same If/else condition set up with an "approval" right after the true outcome, yet I am not getting an approval email following the if/else step. Please help, I've tried everything!

    Hello Amanda,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. As I can check, you didn't log into your account while creating this ticket. I checked your account from the backend and found multiple forms present in it. Can you please share us the link to your form in which you are facing the issue with? So I can check it out and help you with a solution.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for getting back to us. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same problem. As I checked, it is not possible to receive the second Approval email as the Email that has the edit link to the submission is connected to the If/Else condition that you have created for the Second Approval. This means that when the Email is received after the First Approval, the condition will also be triggered while the submission is not yet edited to fill out the "Date Projected to be Completed By".

To resolve this, you need to make the Email after the First Approval as an Approval element instead of an Email element. By doing this, the Approval Workflow cannot proceed to the condition while the submission is not yet edited and approved. Check out the Email element that I am referring to below:
