I'm trying to integrate a form with iContact

I have followed all the instructions that I can find regarding integrating a form with my lists in iContact, but when I send a form to my internal-only TEST list, none of my integrated fields get pre-filled.

Example: I would like my customer's name, email address, company name, and customer ID to be pre-filled when they click the link to take my survey.

However, none of those fields seem to be pre-filled or integrated. Is this how an "integration" should work, or am I misunderstanding what an integration means?

Shouldn't iContact be sending a unique URL to each contact in order for the integration to work properly?

    Thank you!

    Hello Justin635,

It seems your integration with Jotform works properly. Have you viewed your iContact settings and the rules? For example their system denies sending any message to your contacts until you enter your contact information into iContact etc.

If you think all of your settings are correct on both platform, please give us more detailed information about the error.

I'm waiting your response for the issue.

    Regards.

I have my contact information set correctly, and am able to send messages to my contacts in iContact.
However, the problem is that my form doesn’t get pre-filled with my integration information.

I am sorry that I couldn't get your message about the information pre-filled with integration information. Could you provide us with more information in this regard? It would help us if you can provide us with the screenshot of the issue by accessing this thread.

It looks like I misunderstood what an integration with iContact means - I assumed that it meant that I could pre-populate my survey with some customer data, so that they wouldn't have to fill in things like their email address or customer ID. I've submitted another question for that topic -

is there a way to submit data via GET (in the URL) and pre-populate some of my form fields?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your feedback.

As you mentioned above, you can transfer data which is collected from submitters to your iContact list.

However, you cannot get data which is already exist in iContact and fill your form with this data for each submitters automatically. Unfortunately, our iContact integration doesn't work like this. Please have a look at this guide for the iContact Integration: https://www.jotform.com/help/398-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-iContact

On the other hand, I have opened a new thread for second question in your last comment. Please follow your issue from this thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/996636

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to let us know.

    Thank you.
