With Jotform, you can easily add a complete list of India’s states to any form without typing them in one by one. The India States widget instantly provides a ready-made dropdown menu, making it simple for people to select their location when submitting orders, registrations, bookings, and more.
This helps keep your forms clean, consistent, and user-friendly—especially when collecting address details for customers across India. It’s a quick way to reduce manual input, avoid mistakes, and give your users a smooth experience from start to finish.
Here are a few ways to use it:
- Let users quickly choose their state from a complete, ready-made India states dropdown.
- Collect accurate address details for orders, deliveries, bookings, or reservations.
- Streamline registration, application, and onboarding forms that require location information.
- Make customer inquiry, support, or service request forms easier to fill out.
- Improve user experience on long or multi-step forms by removing the need to type state names manually.
- Reduce errors and mismatched entries in workflows where consistent location data matters.
- Keep event, workshop, or appointment forms organized with clean, standardized address fields.
Whether you’re creating a new form or updating an existing one, you can add and set up the India States widget in a few easy steps. Here’s how to do it:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
- Now, in the Form Elements menu, under the Widgets tab, search for India States and click on it. Or, just drag and drop it to where you want it to be on your form.
