How can I get a CSV from my form?

First of all, let me say that JotForm is the best form platform I have ever used. It is very configurable and simple to use.

I have designed a form to allow persons to check in after a catastrophic event. It is supposed to do the same job as the Facebook function but on a smaller scale.

The top of the form displays all who have checked in as safe. But it is populated by manual csv entry into the data form widget.

The bottom of the form have a series of fields designed to capture the live input which eventually will populate the data form.

Is there any way of capturing the data transmitted from the form on submit as a csv text file instead of an email? The optimal situation is to automatically populate the data table from the inputs, but that may be a reach. At least if we get the correctly formatted csv file a simple copy and paste is better than having to do a lot of transposing.

Anyone has any ideas? Is there any way to use basic database principles with these forms?

    Looking forward to the responses.

    Hello CPNet,

If I understand your requirement correctly, you wand to download your form's submission data in csv file. Is that correct?

Please note that it is possible to download your submissions in csv and the following guide should help you:  https://www.jotform.com/help/73-How-to-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF

You can also create a csv report as well: https://www.jotform.com/help/103-How-to-Create-a-CSV-Report

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
