Delayed submission emails

Some of the emails take a while to arrive, e.g. today there was a submission around 6.32am and it took until 11.07am for it arrive. Is there a reason there is such a lag or anything I can do to fix this?

    Hi,

Can you please confirm also that this was your form https://www.jotform.co/form/62808135367864 that have the delayed email issue? If not, please tell us which one.

I checked the email setting of this form and I noted that it has only one Notifier and it was base on conditional email . Meaning, if the condition rule is not met, there is a chance the email will not be sent.

What I suggest you do also is to add a default Notification Email on the form also that is not base on conditions. This way there will always be email alert when form is submitted.

Using your own email as the sender email via SMTP method is also more reliable since it will be using your own email service.

Hope this help. Please let us know if there is more we can assist you with.

The emails only send when they are a FAIL. As mentioned, the email was sent however, it was extremely delayed and we know this because of the timestamp.

I can confirm that the form you linked to is the correct one and we have 2 people notified, with both being notified, but several hours late.

    Thank you for the explanation.

Please try first also adding a default Notifier on your form https://www.jotform.co/form/62808135367864 .

    User guide: Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

You can assign the 2 recipient from the conditional email as the Recipient E-mail as well on the default form Notifier.

By doing this we should be able to compare if there is issue with conditional email versus the normal/default email configurations.

I also recommend using your own email as the sender via SMTP setup.

Do let us know if my suggested modification still have the issue of delayed email alert for the regular Notifier.
