How can I automatically include a contactee in one of my Mailchimp contact lists?

I have integrated Mailchimp with a form, offered the option to "subscribe to a newsletter" and have the list automatically update contacts, but when I submit on the form, no emails or user names are added to my list. What am I missing?

New contacts should be automatically added to your MailChimp contact list. I have checked your form and it is successfully integrated with MailChimp. I have cleared your form cache. Please test your form again and then check your MailChimp list if contact has been added to the list. If new contact is not added I would suggest you to re-integrate your form with  using a new API Keys from Mailchimp.

Also, make sure that the field types are the same, if it's a dropdown from JotForm, your Mailchimp field type should able be a dropdown.
