How to collect credit card information without charging?

I am trying to collect credit card information, but at the time of collection all costs have not been calculated.  Is there a way to use authorize.net to collect information then update the amount at a later time?

Since it is not allowed to collect credit card information in our forms for security reasons you must use one of our payment integrations.

How can you do this with Authorize.net, I've called them and they said I needed to talk with jotforms to see if you integrated to allow for authorize.net customer information manager. 

We do not have an integration for the customer information manager but we do allow for authorizing a specific amount to be charged:

That amount is a specific dollar amount and cannot be updated to a different amount at a later time.
