How to capture form's analytics if they drop off before submission?

As for form submission data, is there a way to capture lead information if
the form was abandoned mid way?
for example if there are 10 steps to the process and they complete it to 6,
and then close out the form.
Could I still capture the data on steps 1-6? and to see the stats on where
people are dropping off the form?

    Hi Dan,

I understand you'd like to receive analytics and see the drop rate for each field. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

In the meantime, you may consider checking Jotform Analytics and any 3rd party analytics widget available in the Form Builder.

    +1 for this capability.

A quick search returned ~10 other threads of people requesting this over the years.

~3 years ago somebody gave this response: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2848326-can-i-capture-the-data-my-respondents-input-into-my-form-like-contact-information-prior-to-submission

That there was a deprecated feature to save form data each time a "Next" button was hit.

Is that still available? 100% agree with that person 3 years ago. This is fairly standard procedure with a lot of other form software and from a marketing standpoint, capturing that data early on before dropoff is absolutely essential.
