Autoresponder: Recipients are not receiving emails

    there are problems with sending autoresponder emails to gmail addresses, the emails sent automatically do not reach the recipient, do you have any solution to suggest?

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand how difficult and stressful this is. If you can share the link to the affected form, I can check it out and see what’s going on. You can also share with us the submission IDs of those experiencing the issue with the Autoresponder.

    As soon as we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

    happens for almost all IDs,

    one for example 5867313780819214641

    we sent the mail other times after the submission but never received anything, we changed the submission email address to another gmail and nothing, in the end we put our own holildeatravel email address and received it regularly

    Hi Holidea,

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked our mail logs and can confirm that the autoresponder email for this submission mmartinatota@gmail.com has been sent correctly. Take a look at the screenshot below:

    Sometimes, private domains may block unrecognized domains such as @jotform.com preventing emails from being received, or for these emails to be redirected to the spam folder. We recommend asking your customer to check their spam folders.

    If you find this happening often, consider using your own domain to send your emails. This can be done by setting up your own SMTP server. Let me show you how to do that:

    • Go to your My Account page, and click on Settings, or visit here directly.
    • Click on the Add Sender Email button and enter your SMTP details

    • When you're finished, click on the Send Test Email button to make sure that everything is working. If it works, click on the Add Email button. If not, please check the details again and correct any errors.
    • Now you'll be able set your SMTP as the Sender Email in your Autoresponder settings.
