Duplicate or clone a submission

I'm trying to figure out how we can use our form (we use it as a advertising sales order form) so we can pull up  a previously submitted order and change the run dates and have the unique ID number automatically update to a new number.

Not sure I'm explaining this to make sense to you, but maybe we can talk through it.

Please take note that editing a submission will not create a new submission.

We do have an app called Import Data. The idea is that you export that specific submission in Excel file to download the data. After that, you can change the headers of the spreadsheet file to match the headers provided by the app. Please check this guide: Import-App-Easily-Import-Your-Excel-or-CSV-Data-into-JotForm.
