in my form, i need for the ability to have the option of up to 10 rooms, with the potential of 10 windows in each room.

i built it completely that way but its running into trouble working correctly. If I hit for 4 rooms, it should give me 4 rooms options. Each room option should have a drop down for how many windows in this room. once you choose the number, that exact number of window measurement forms should appear so they can be filled out.

The only one that is working correctly is number 1. it works exactly how it suppose too. i just cannot get the functionality of room 1 to work the same for the remaining 9 rooms. can you assist.

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

The room appears according to the Show and Hide Field conditions built through your form. I only made 3 room samples to appear in my short video, because it's only allowed to send a limited amount of capacity to be displayed here on the thread. I can confirm that everything works and can see that the room shows correctly based on your conditions.

Let us know if you need any more help.

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Here are other examples that the conditions work according to the entered number of room measures and the number of windows in each room.

    Jason,

i do not think you understand what i need because nothing is working. even in your video when you hit 5 rooms, it brought up 1,2,3,4,5,10. not sure why ten is there but thats not suppose to happen. second, if you type 2 rooms, only room 1 & 2 should show up. when you open each room, it ask how may windows in that room and then it brings up a 2 line items for each window. that does not work for any other window except for 1. ROOM 1 is the only room that brings up the correct number of windows you request.

there are 10 rooms of options and in each room there is 10 windows of options.

    thank you

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for your explanation. That made the issue much clearer. The reason behind that is because Room 10 isn't part of your built conditions. This is why, for any number you have entered from the room to measures, the Room 10 option will always appear.

Please make sure to build a condition if you need to hide or show the Room 10 option. On the other hand, can you please clarify that if you type 2 rooms, only rooms 1 and 2 appear? Do you mean entering it into the rooms to measure? If yes, the only room that will show is Room 1 according to your conditions.

But if that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better? You can also send us some screenshots so understand what's happening. This guide will show you how to do that. Lastly, you can also send us a short video and send it here via Google Drive.

As soon as we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.
