    Hi vettold1,

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. We have the Prefill Feature that allows you to find existing data from your forms, tables, or third-party providers.  You can set up the prefill feature in the Publish tab of your form.

What you can do is set up Form Prefill on form #2 which Our 5-Step regular Lawn Service Quote with Signup Form so that the form data from form #1 can be prepopulated in form #2 including the unique code. Here is how to do it:

    • In Form Builder on the orange navigation bar, click Publish.
    • Go to Prefill Option on the left side of the page and choose Form Prefill.

    • Click +Add More to add the Unique ID field from form #1 and map it with the Code field in form #2
    • Click Save Settings once done.

    • You will be routed to a page wherein you will see the submissions on form #1. Select the submission needed to create the prefill entry.
    • Click Create on the top right of the page to create the prefill links.

    • That's it. Prefill links are now created like the ones below.

You can click on each prefilled links by blue hyperlink, and you will be routed to the form with the data in it, then you finish filling out the missing data and submit the form.

Now, if you want to email the respondent once the second form is filled, then you can create a confirmation email. Let me show you how to set that up:

    • IForm Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    • In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    • Now, click on Add an Email.
    • Next, select Autoresponder Email.
    • Customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done.

    Hi vettold1,

Thanks for getting back to us. Yes, the Form Prefill will work even if Form 1 is a Card Form Layout and Form 2 is a Classic Form Layout. Here's an example screenshot of two forms with different form layouts:
