I had a client fill out one of my forms - New Project Information Form. I received 2 emails. One was for me which included the PDF. The other email says "Please review the request below. "Approve" "Deny" - but I don't know what I am approving nor why. Please help.

    Hi jacobsbranding,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You received an Approval email because you've created an Approval Flow for your form. You can delete the Approval Flow if you don't need it on your form. Here's how you can delete an Approval Flow:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings.
    2. Then choose Approval Flows.
    3. Click on the Approval Flow's Gear icon and click on Delete option.

Hi! Can you explain what I am approving in the workflow. I don't understand. What happens once I approve the workflow?

    Hi Holley Jacobs,

Thanks for getting back to us. When you create an approval flow and once your form fillers submit the form, you get an email alert that will ask you to either approve or deny their form fill-out details request. You can go through their submitted form data and decide if you wish to approve or deny it. Here is a link on how the approval flow works on Jotform. You should go through it.

When I checked out your New Project Information form. I noted that you have already deleted the approval flow form. So, you won't get the email request to approve or deny anymore. Once you click on approve, based on the settings, your form fillers will get the confirmation email that their submitted request has been approved by you.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
