Stripe Integration: Stripe payment issue.

    Stripe integration is returning "Stripe Payment Error. You passed an empty string for 'payment_method'."

    I've tried reconnecting the integration and clearing the cache, this seems to fix the issue but only temporarily as myself and customers get the same error just a day later.

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    As you can see, the form was successfully submitted. Can you take a screenshot while the console is open, and send it to us? This guide will show you how to do that.

    Hi coryjuby,

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your attached image, but it did not go through to our system because the images are broken. Can you send again the screenshots of what you see on your end so we can have a better idea? Here's how to do it:

    • Open the thread in your browser. If you got a reply via email, there should be a button at the bottom that says View this thread. Click that button to open your thread in a new tab.

    • Once you open your thread, scroll down until you see the Your Answer section.
    • This is where you will reply. Click the Add Image button.
    • Next, paste the image URL or upload the image from your PC. Click the Add button to post the image on your thread.

    Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, can you try to remove the integration and integrate it again with Stripe? Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element option at the top left corner of the page.
    2. Click on the Payments tab on the left side of the page and look for the Stripe Integration widget.
    3. Click the Ellipsis (three-dot icon) beside the Stripe integration widget and click on Switch to Another Gateway option.
    4. Select any widget then click on the Use Selection button. After that, repeat step 3 and re-select the Stripe Integration widget. Stripe Integration: Stripe payment issue Screenshot 41
    5. Click the Connect button to log in again to your Stripe account.

    I've done all those steps previously. Myself and many of my customers are experiencing this issue and I need it to be escalated.

    Thanks for patiently waiting. ​​I tested your form but couldn’t replicate the issue, so I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Our Developers are working on the issue as fast as they can. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know. Thanks for your patience.
