Asked on April 10, 2024 at 11:42 AM

    Gracias!

    Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. I understand that there are 4 spots for the test drives, but I want to confirm if these spots have independent slots, or only one spot can be chosen for a said day? If the slots are independent, then the schedule for each spot is also different. Adding an 4 different Appointment elements, one for each spot, should be the approach. Otherwise, you can add a dropdown or single choice element, where in users can select a spot, then select an appointment slot.

However, if that's not what you're looking for, can you be a little more specific about what you are trying to accomplish, we might be able to suggest a workaround that fits, so we can help you better?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

I have 4 locations where test drives can be done.

For Alta Plaza, I have 36 daily spots. 36 clients can be taken care off

For Metro Mall, 12. 12 Clients can be taken care off and same for the rest

    For Costa Verde, 8.

    For Via España, 8.

How can I create a conditional reservation for a 30-minute driving SPOT with these conditions?

    Thank you!

Also, what about if the spot is already taken? How can that information be known for the form?

    Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for getting back to us. If I understand your use case correctly, you have 4 locations that have different scheduling and spots per day. If so, we will need to add 4 different Appointment fields for each location. Let me show you how to do that:

First, we will need to add another 3 Appointment fields and hide all the Appointment fields.

    1. In Form Builder, click the +Add Form Element.
    2. Click or drag the Appointment field.
    3. Then, select all Appointment fields and click the Hide button on the orange navigation bar.

Next, we will need to add a Conditional Logic Show/Hide Field to show the Appointment field based on the user's answer. Here are the screenshots of the condition:

Clarification for the 30-minute driving spot, do they have a 30-minute duration for the test drive? If not, can you please explain a bit more about that so we can provide or suggest a workaround?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

This Works perfectly! Now I just need to test it out Its 1 hour spot for client but we have 6 execs in one spot sos that would be 1 hour for client about six hours spots 6x6=36 spots. Is that clear?

    Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for getting back to us. Can you please explain more on what you meant by 6 execs in one spot? It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for getting back to us. Are you looking to adding a Google Map image to your notification and/or confirmation email? If so, the easiest way to add a Google Maps image into your Notification and/or Autoresponder emails is to use the Google Static Maps API. This API sends back a static map image (JPG, PNG, and GIF) depending on the parameters that you specify. For more information, proceed to this link: Google Static Maps API.

    1) Build the map link based on the field name. If your field name is {location}, do it like this:

    https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center={location}&zoom=13&size=600x300&maptype=roadmap%20&markers=color:green|%22{location}%22

Notice how the field name is added in the link. Please make sure to do it like this and no other HTML formatting is added.

    2) Add it as an image in the Notification/Autoresponder Email template. I.e. You can add a new row as the placeholder, and then hyperlink the image and use the same URL so to make the image clickable.

Now, if you prefer to show a map link that will open the Google map to know distance and location, then you can add the following URL to your Email Notification. This way, when you receive a submission, you can click the link to view the location:

    https://maps.google.com/maps?q={tag}

Replace {tag} with your Geolocation’s unique name. To add the Google map geolocation marker to your form by following the steps below:

    1. In Form Builder, click Add Form Element on the left-hand side of the page.
    2. Go to the Widgets tab and search and select Geolocation.
    3. Enter the Google Maps API Key in the Widget Settings panel.
