I’m trying to do a simple equation with a final answer in % form

my form calculation field looks like this:

    (Monthly fees / monthly volume)=(calculation*100)

But my answer in the form calcualtion field

    is (0.03)=(0.03*100)

I’ve tried numerous different ways per some examples but obviously not doing somerhing right.

I need the answer to be specific to the simple division equation ie $567.50 / $18755 = 3.025% or more specifically rounded to 3.03%

    please help!!

    thanks

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue. When I looked at your form, I saw that the Form Calculation widget wasn't configured correctly. Let me show you how to fix it:

    1. Add a Form Calculation widget to your form to calculate the %.
    2. Set the calculation as shown in my screenshot.

    3. Then, to correct your equation, update the Form Calculation widget and modify the value as shown in my screenshot.

You can test my demo form or clone it to see the changes made in the cloned form.

Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for getting back to us. Are you referring to the highlighted box below?

If so, then that's just a white space created when you press the space bar from your keyboard. It becomes visible after you press the space bar, then click anywhere in the input field. By default, the color will be black, which means it corresponds as a number. You need to click it once to make it grey. See screencast below:
