Free Plan limits: suspend or auto upgrade?

If I have the Free plan, and my form exceeds 100 submissions/1000 views in a single month, what happens?

    Does the form stop working?

    or

Does the account automatically upgrade to Bronze?

Is there a way to automatically upgrade to Bronze if the Free plan is exceeded in May. Then downgrade back to Free on June 1?

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. As soon as you reached your Starter plan limit, the forms will be disabled to prevent further submissions. You will also receive an email that your account has reached its limit. See the screenshot below:

The account doesn't upgrade automatically, so you will have to click on Upgrade Now button to upgrade your account. You can check this guide on Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits to know more.

Once you upgraded your account, and want to cancel the subscription, you can go to the Billing page of your account, and change back to Starter plan. You can cancel your subscription, but it should be done on the Desktop version of Jotform, rather than the mobile app. It's easy, let's do it:

    1. On your My Forms page, hover your mouse over your avatar in the top-right corner and click on Settings.

    2. Under the Billing tab, click on Change Plan.

    3. Click on the Downgrade button to switch to the Starter (Free) Plan.

    4. There will be a pop-up window with some extra information about the downgrade. Please follow those instructions to continue with canceling your plan.

    Eiron_O,

Thank you so much for your fast and concise reply.

When the form is disabled, what will display on the page where the form is embedded?

When you say, "the forms will be disabled", does that mean the forms are no longer viewable? Or that the form is still viewable but the submit function doesn't work? Or the form is viewable, but grayed out?

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for getting back to us. Your forms will display the “Form over quota” error message if you reach any of the monthly limits and your users can no longer view or access your form. Checkout the screenshot below to see the error:
