Google Drive Integration: PDF file is not showing in send submission section

    HI, I have created a PDF for my form so that the PDF uploads to Google Drive can be formatted in a specific way. However, when I go to the Google Drive integration, none of my PDF form template names are available --- only "Default" which is not pretty at all.


    What am I doing wrong? Please help.

    Hi reggiejohnson,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I cloned and tested your form, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:

    Can you please try to clear form cache? You can check out this guide on how to do it. After doing that, please try to integrate again with Google Drive. If the same thing happens again, we'll investigate it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.

    Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Okay, I did all of that and the problem persists. I still cannot change the PDF template for the Google Drive.

    IF it's helpful to know, I can change the template for attaching a PDF to an email. Just not for the Google Drive integration.

    I dont' know if this helps, but I cloned the form and it worked properly too... until I moved it to our business account shared FWCDS folder which is for our paid account. Then it stopped behaving properly.

    However, I have multiple forms that work just fine that I created and that are now in the FWCDS shared folder. For them I am able to select the PDF template. So I do not know why for this one specific form (and the clone I made from it), it is not working.

    Hi reggiejohnson,

    Thanks for getting back to us. When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened to me. After investigating it a bit, I found a solution. Let me show you how:

    1. In the Submission Table, click the +Add Button to add new column.
    2. Select the Buttons tab, select Send Data to Other Apps and click Next.
    3. Enter the Column Name and click Next.
    4. Click the +Add New Integration button and click Create Column.
    5. And, select the Google Drive Integration.
    6. Select a Google Drive Account and click Add Action.
    7. Now, select the PDF document and click Save.
    8. After that, check the box icon of the Integration and click Create Column.
    9. Then, under the Google Drive button click the Send Data.

    That's it. A Google Drive column would be created in your submissions table and you should be able to forward the submission again in Google Drive.

    The only option in this location is also the Default PDF. I don't understand.

    Now it appears to be working in both places -- the Google Drive integration AND the button action in the table column.
