I run a training business and was wondering how when clients select a trainer to work with how can the email only go the business and the trainer but not everybody ?

Hi Jake,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. For this purpose, you can assign a value (trainer email address) to the name of the trainer. Once the client select a trainer, the trainer email address will be passed to the email field. I can walk you through setting that up:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Basic tab, drag and drop the element to your form.
- Scroll down to Basic Elements, drag and drop the Dropdown element to your form.
- Select the Dropdown and click on the Gear icon.
- Under the Options tab, list down the names of the trainer in the text box under Options.
- Scroll down a little bit and toggle the Calculation Values switch to On.
- Assign a value to each of the options.
Now, let's set up the Update/Calculate Field conditional logic.
- Click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of Form Builder.
- Select Conditions on the left side of the screen.
- Select Update/Calculate Field from the options.
- Set the condition to just like what you see in screenshot below:
- Finally, click on Save.
Now, you can create an Autoresponder email exclusive for the trainers. That email will be sent to the trainer selected by your client.
