    Hi WIlliam,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. This feature seems to be coming from an old version of the form theme. The current forms being built do not have this, which is why if you create one now, you won't see this.

If you wish to edit your old form, you can find this setting in the Advanced Designer. Here are the steps on how to go there:

    1. Edit your form and click the paint roller icon on the right.
Enable form columns Image 1 Screenshot 40
    2. After the window on the right slides in, scroll down and click the Advanced Designer button
Enable form columns Image 2 Screenshot 51
    3. Then you can expand the Form Layout settings and you should see there the Enable Form Columns option.

What you can do this time for the newly built forms is manually shrink the size of your fields so that they can fit next to each other.

Let us know if you have more questions or need more help.

    Hi,

I have tried shrinking then moving the fields but they just go above or below the corresponding field!

    Hi CoformUK,

Thanks for getting back to us. Since you already enabled 2 columns from Advanced Designer, all you have to do is to shrink selected elements. I tried it on your form and it is working as expected. Please see my screencast below for the result:

As you can see in the screencast above, there are some instances that you have to move a certain field to a new line for it to be aligned. You just have to click the field's gear icon to open properties, go to Advanced tab and turn on Move to a new line. You can check out this guide on Setting Up Form Columns for more detailed information.

Here's the link to my cloned form for you to check and see the results. Also, you can clone the form by following this guide on How to Clone an Existing Form From a URL.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
