My forms are being sent and requiring the recipients to create an account

I want the forms to be easy to complete but some of my recipients are complaining that they DO NOT want to sent up an account with Jotform or sign in with Google or FB. They just want to fill out the form and hit SEND. How can I correct this?

    Hello Darin,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support, and we’re sorry that your respondents are being required to sign up or sign in to their Jotform account just to fill out your form.

Please note that this issue happens when a respondent accesses your Private form. They will not be required to sign up if you assign them the form through the Assign section on the form itself. If your forms are set to Private, then they would not be able to access the form until they sign up or sign in to their Jotform account, or they get invited to fill up your form. To resolve this, you can change your form access settings. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Click on Settings.
    3. Then, click the Gear Icon and switch the Private form to Public.Requiring respondents to sign up to Jotform Image 1 Screenshot 20 Screenshot 30 My forms are being sent and requiring the recipients to create an account Image 1 Screenshot 41
    4. Otherwise, if you don't want to switch your form to Public, under the Invite By Email, enter your respondent's email address to fill out your form.

    Hello Darin,

Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the confusion. Please note that even if you assign or invite the user to fill out your form. They still would need to sign in or sign up. Again, if you don't want them to sign in or sign up for Jotform, please note that your form has to be changed from Private to Public form. Please follow the steps provided above.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Jotform -
I'm getting VERY frustrated. I'm trying to run a business but Jotform is making me look bad. I did what you instructed below. I changed the form to Public and my customers are still asked to sign up with Jotform or access the form using Google (see image below.)
I am sending the form using "Invite By Email". But I have also tried "Assign By Email".
We need to get this fix because it is making me look really bad right now.

    Hi Darin,

Thanks for getting back to us. Keep in mind, the Assigning a form and sharing a form by Invite by Email feature will always require your users to have a Jotform account to access and fill the form even if the form's access setting is set to Public. You can easily share your form URL by copying it and sending it via your email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click the Publish button.
    2. Click Quick Share on the left, and then click the Copy Link button to copy your form URL. That's it. Link for my Hydrafacial consent form is not working Screenshot 41 Screenshot 10

Let us know if you have any other questions.
