Jotform with photos- photos automatically uploaded to laptop.

Hello-

When my clients fill out a Jotform and submit it, it is automatically saved in my Google Drive. Then somewhere along the way, the photo attachments in the Jotform are saved to my laptop. I can't figure out where this is syncing from. If there is anything on the Jotform side of things that could be where that connection is happening...could someone help me with that?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. May I ask if you are using Google Drive for your Desktop? That may be the reason why the photo attachments in Jotform are also synced to your laptop. If not, can you share a screen recording while replicating your issue with us? You can use Loom to make a screen recording and post the link in your next reply.

Thank you for your reply. I don't feel comfortable doing Loom as my file system is pretty unorganized and I can't be certain that I would only contain the pertinent information in the recording. So, I did screen shots. File organization isn't my strong suit and I have just noticed over time that photos uploaded to Jotform and linked to my google drive eventually show up saved in my files on my laptop.

I only use Drive in a web browser and I do not use Drive for desktop.

I attached 2 photos, one showing how the jotform file shows up in the google drive and how the attached photos later show up in my filed in my laptop.

My attached photo on the cloned form was not automatically downloaded to my computer. Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on. I cleared your form cache as a precaution. If you are still having trouble, you may also try clearing your browser’s cache by checking out this guide or you can try to fill out the form on another browser. If the issue persists, you may take a screenshot of the console report and send it to us. Here's a guide on How to Get a Console Report from Most Common Browsers.
