Zapier Integration with ChatGPT to transcribe voice to text

    Hi Team, is there a way to pass the voice recording through to Zapier and getting a transcript using ChatGPT? I've tried it but it shows 'File Not Found'.
    Or is there a way to transcribe voice to text in JotForm?

    Hi James,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form, and see you're trying to use Zapier Integration with ChatGPT to get a transcript from the audio file created by the Voice Recorder widget. You're saying you got an error when trying to make it work. It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that. As for voice transcription, it's currently not possible with Jotform. You can try using Zapier Integration with Happy Scribe. You can find more information here.

    Hello,

    If I may weigh in here, I have a similar issue.

    • I have a simple Jot form that has a single Voice Record widget.
    • The form settings are Public form with Submit & Edit Later selected.
    • The form is linked to a Zap — the accounts are linked (1c, 2c, and 3c in the attached image).
    • A new form submission triggers the Zap (1 in the attached image).
    • The next step is for OpenAI Whisper to create a transcript. It accepts the .wav file from the form submission. (2 in the attached image).
    • The Zap breaks at this point with a "Not Found" error. (1b and 2a of the image).
    • The download URL of the .wav file (3a) is correct and working. I can download the file when logged in to my Jot account. I am not able to download the file when not logged in. I get 'Error 404 Page not found'.
    • I am assuming the Zap fails as the download is not publicly available.
    • My Jotform account has my Zapier account as an authorised linked app.

    How do I go about making the .wav files downloadable to the Zap? I know this is possible as I have seen a demo of this flow working.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.
