How can I create an automatic loan approval form

    I'm a lender and would like the customer to complete a form with name, address, and loan amount and have this information populate onto a document that is already signed by me. I'd like the finished letter to automatically open up into a pdf. Thanks so much. Mike Richards

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can use our Jotform Sign feature, where you can upload your signed PDF document, and map form fields into it to gather user input. Please check out this guide on how to use Jotform Sign. Below is a sample screenshot:

    I want it to be automatic. The customer fills in certain fields such as name, address, and price, then the form auto populates this information onto my letter and creates a pdf. Is that possible?

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for getting back to us. The suggestion of my colleague Kenneth is actually one of the options. But if it doesn't work for you, you may consider using the Smart PDF Forms. Jotform Smart PDF Forms allows you to convert your PDF form to an online form. I can walk you through setting that up:

    1. In My Forms page, click on the Create Form button.How can I create an automatic loan approval form Image 1 Screenshot 50
    2. Click on Import Form.

    3. Select Import PDF Form from the options. Clicking this option will take you to the upload page.

    4. Under the Upload tab, you can drag and drop your PDF or click on the Upload Document button to select your file. Upload the file to proceed.

    Once the upload is completed, you will be taken to the Build Step where you’ll see the online form (on the left) and the original PDF (on the right) side by side. You can adjust your online form and the PDF, such as connecting fields, adding missing and new fields, deleting fields, etc.
