I would like my employee to open a form and give me information, submit it to an existing google doc and send a predefined number back to the person entering the data.
Example:
Form asks for a date, a location and a price user enters info hits submit and populates to a pre numbered row on a google sheet and sends that number back to the person who submitted the data is this possible?

Send form submissions to Google Sheets is possible: https://www.jotform.com/help/228-How-to-Integrate-Forms-with-Google-Sheets
However, picking up a value from a Google Sheet and putting it into an autoresponder is not possible. If you want to generate custom unique IDs per each submission, please follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions
The ID will be included in the autoresponder. Let us know if you have more questions.

When you add "Unique ID" widget in form, it will generate sequence number and not random one.
I would suggest you to please go ahead and try it out the widget and get back to us if you have any questions.
