Can I allow users to edit submissions using an employee id?

This is what I am looking for : I have a primary key say Employee ID. Different users should be able to retrieve the Jotform of each Employee ID and do the update. When I export the data, there should be only one record per Employee ID and the record should have all the updates.

I don't know whether we can achieve this using Submission ID.

You can add your employee id, it can be either entered by the user or generated automatically by the form, here is a guide about it: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions

However, while editing the submissions the submission id is passed as parameter to pull the data, but you can create a report, share it with the users and they can search using any information on the submission, including the submission id or the custom id you generate.

This guide will help you with the available reports on JotForm: https://www.jotform.com/help/326-How-to-Create-Form-Reports-in-JotForm

I am trying to integrate JotForm to my webiste. I am using the iFrame. Questions :

    1. Is there a way I can get the submission ID in my website, the moment I click the "SUBMIT" button?

Plan is to save this Submission ID in my database and map to a corresponding Employee ID. So next time a user logs in, if the Submission ID-Employee ID mapping exists; then it pulls that form with the data else it pulls up the empty form.
