    Hi everybody,

There was an article on setting passwords on a form. Article was: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1370112-How-to-set-a-password-for-my-form#3

What I want to do is the following:

    1) I want to let a user fill in a form. Based on the questions and answers the form goes to a finance department.

    2) The finance department approves. There is an answere to the user back of approval.

    3) Then at an certain time the user needs to add an PDF to the approval and that one goes back to the finance department.

Is it possible to do this? It means the user requests, the finance uses a password and approves. The user adds an PDF later to the form (second password or something??) and submits again.

    Please help.

    Hi @rblaauw!

You can use Workflow for JotForm to create an approval workflow, please see the following resources.

    Blog: how-to-create-an-approval-workflow-for-jotform

    Website: https://www.workflowforjotform.com/

Please see the short video on the website. You can Reassign back to your customer, asking to upload the necessary PDF file.

Alternatively, you can follow this guide to create an approval workflow.

    Guide: A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow

You can create an upload field on your form that is only displayed if a certain condition is met, for instance, if the status of the approval dropdown menu is set to Approved by the finance department. That way the customer can upload their PDF after they receive an approved form.

Please note that you cannot create a field on your form with the words "login" or "password" as your form and account will be suspended according to our anti-phishing policy.

But you can call that field something else and add it to your form as an additional measure of protection. It would have to be a passphrase that all users who fill out your form know. Looks like you have already found my colleague's answer on how to set that up: How-to-set-a-password-for-my-form.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to help.
