Disabled clients need to save form and return later

    Hello

We are trying to create a Jotform questionnaire for clients who have a disability. Their disability means that they are often fatigued with short concentration levels. This means that our clients will need to leave a form half-finished and not return to it for several hours, several days or even longer sometimes.

It is VITAL that our disabled clients do not lose any of the information that they have taken so much time and energy to fill in, when they return.

We have been testing the system by following the TWO Jotform articles below. We have tried following the advice given in both articles but when testing the system, Beth (PC) cannot retrieve the contents of her form that she previously filled in and Mimi could see hers (mac safari).

We need a guarantee that clients can return to their half finished form within a 3 month period - as outlined in the 2nd article.

We are confused by both these articles..

Article #1 (Dec17) refers to an autofill feature where the system saves form information in the browser for only 24 hours

Article #2 (Dec 18) talks about in the event of the computer crashing/client not being able to fill out the form in one sitting, the system will still save the contents of a half finished form for up to 3 months - this one is more relevant for what we need for our clients

We have both been testing Jotform separately and tried to follow the advice in both articles but it doesn't appear to be working for us consistently. Can you please help us as we need to know that each disabled client can save and return to their form for up to 3 months, regardless of what browser, device and platform they use.

We look forward to your response.

    Thank you

I have checked your form and it seems you have setup the sessions email correctly in your autoresponder.

To clarify, do you want to transfer the first field value to your second form?

You may do that using URL parameters.

The easiest path would be using  the Card Form. It has a build-in feature to save the form data using sessions.

    Hope this information helps.
