Hi,
We have a form for our drivers to fill out while delivering equipment to customers. We often email a copy of the form to the customers as Proof of Delivery.
The thing is, we only want to customers to see certain fields on the form. Is there a way to edit the PDF in a way where it won't affect the form, so that we could hide some fields on the PDF and send that to the customers, but when the driver submits the ticket back to the office, we can still see all fields?
Also, if this can work, we will upgrade to the Gold Plan - is there a way for both the form submission and PDF document to be HIPPA compliant?
Thank you for your great customer support! JotForms is a pleasure to work with!

Yes, you can, our PDF editor will allow you exactly that, to adjust the PDF as you wish, and that will not affect your online form.

You can customize how the PDF document (PDF that will be attached to the submission email) will look like.
If you have any further questions, please get back to us.
Thank you!

So why do I get this warning when I try to delete a field from my PDF? I thought it won't affect my web form??

We apologize for the confusion.
If I am not mistaken, you must be deleting a field in the PDF Form version in your PDF Editor https://www.jotform.com/pdf-editor/1091695155958070
Please take note that there are 2 types of PDF - (1) PDF Form, (2) Submission PDF
The PDF Form version is similar to the normal Form as they can be published on the web.
While the Submission PDF is the submission PDF Report that contain submission data. It is not a form.
How to Customize PDF Submissions Report
---
Deleting a field in your PDF Form version will affect the published web form also.
But if only deleting field in Submission PDF report, it will not.
I hope this clarifies the matter. Let us know if you need further assistance.

In order to create and open a PDF report (PDF document), you should mark your form and then click on More and then click on Create a PDF document. This will open the report in the PDF editor and you will be able to customize it.
This guide will help you to modify the PDF report:
