Google Sheet Integration stopped working

    Hi,

We have a survey here (https://form.jotform.com/90353759556165) that is hooked up to gsheet integration.  We broke the integration accidentally (not our first rodeo in that regard).  When we removed, and then re-added gsheet integration, we don't seem to be getting new responses.  i.e. we tried a few dummy submissions and don't see them being populated in the sheet.

We haven't done anything to the gsheet that would break it (i.e. didn't touch any columns, remove data, etc.).

The only thing we did was delete a submission through the jotform API at some point in here.  But if we re-did the integration I assume that wouldn't affect things.

    Lil help?

If you've done a re-integration, it will create a new sheet with all the existing submissions in it. You might be looking at the old integrated sheet.

Did you make any changes in the header column of your integrated google spreadsheet, hide some columns or re-arranged it? Please note that editing the integrated sheet will cause the integration to break.

If you want to make edits to the spreadsheet, please use the IMPORTRANGE function in another form and make the changes there.

    @veiischeduler

I have moved your concern to a separate thread. We will address it shortly.

    Hi,

I'm not sure the issue is addressed.

    1. yes, we have tried re-integrating.  At the moment of re-integration all survey responses are populated in the sheet, as expected.

    2. Then, without making any changes to the sheet at all, we submit a few trial form submissions, and they don't populate into the sheet.  We've tried this ~6 times?

Again the form id is: 90353759556165

When you edit the Form or the Sheet then the integration would stop working.

I noticed that the Form fields were edited from the Form revision history:

Could you please re-integrate the Form once more and see if the issue persists.

I have cleared your account's Form cache.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks.

    Yay!  it works.

I did fail to mention the changing of the text box - I get that that might break integration.  Is there a way I could have fixed that myself (cleared the cache?) somehow?

If you change anything on the JotForm forms i.e. edit/add any new fields or any changes in the sheet will break the integration and thus, you have to create a fresh integration with Google sheets.

I am glad that the solution worked for you.

However, if you want to clear form cache you can do that by going to the settings page from your account.

    Please follow this guide.
