How can I conditionally alter the Quantiy of an item based on the number of hours filled in the form?

I have already looked through your blog and previous questions.

I am selling a service and I want to create a condition where when they fill out the time slot they want to use my services, then that value creates a condition that translates to the quantity of a product in my cart (as an ad on I sell 4X6 prints per hour)

So basically when they arrive at the pay section to select a package, the time has translated into the amount of prints they will receive an automatically has the ad on loaded should they want to include that ad on.

    Hope that made sense,

    Thanks

Getting the number of hours in the form is possible, but I'm afraid having that value to the quantity of an item in your payment field is not possible. We do not a variable pricing or quantity option based on the field/calculation.

A workaround would be to utilize the quantity box or a dropdown which you already have and explain in the form that the selector is the number of hours or change the Quantity label to "Hours". See below settings:

    Okay Thanks,

would having a condition behave so that when they choose a sub option from a product it automatically ads another sub product? aka they choose bronze package and it ads a print product x2 (for 2 hrs), be possible?

And why can I have price options on packages product options but not when I make a new Print product option?

I'm sorry, but it is not possible at all. You cannot have the condition to add an item in the payment field dynamically. If you want, maybe, add the items using our basic fields such as the Multiple Choice field. The options of this field can have a calculation value which you can then sum up in the calculation widget.

Guide to assign calculation value: https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value.

The only problem I see here is the quantity box of each item and the packages.

As for your last question regarding the product options, you cannot have special pricing if you do not have a quantity property in the field. You should add the quantity first then the options. Next, you should then be able to enable special pricing.
